2 new Board members added

The United Way of Coshocton is pleased to announce the addition of Tisha Babcock and Kayla Cowden to the Board of Directors beginning December 2022.

Tisha Babcock will be the Facility Administrator for the Genesis Coshocton Medical Center.  She has been employed by Genesis for 25 years and is an RN with Master’s in Nursing.  Tisha received the Clinical Nurse Leadership certification, Critical Care Nurse certification as well as the Genesis Leadership Award.

In her spare time Tisha is a member of Coshocton Rotary Club, is a Parish School of Religion instructor at Sacred Heart Church, a 4H advisor, school volunteer and is involved with the boosters.

She and her husband Jason have 4 children.

Kayla Cowden is the Production Planner at Wiley’s Organic Technologies and has been there for 6 years.  She graduated from the University of Akron Magna Cum Laude.  Kayla received a Project Management certificate from the University of Austin as well as a graduate certificate in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Ohio University.  She plans to pursue her Master’s in Business Administration spring 2023.

Kayla is a member of the Presbyterian church and has volunteered in the Sunday School program, VBS, community dinners etc.

In her spare time, Kayla sings in the Community Choir, enjoys cooking/baking and enjoys reading about American History.  She also hopes to relearn how to play the piano.

The United Way of Coshocton has been serving Coshocton for over 80 years and is locally governed. Board members typically serve 2 consecutive 3- year terms.
