The United Way of Coshocton is pleased to announce the Dominique Rice has joined the Board of Control.
Rice is a Coshocton, Ohio native spending most of his life here in Coshocton County . In 2013, Dominique accepted a position with Barnes & Noble Education at the OSU/COTC Newark Campus and relocated to the Granville, Ohio area. He earned a department management certificate through Barnes & Noble’s Bestseller Management program and was their department supervisor for three years before returning to the Coshocton, Ohio area in 2016.
Rice currently holds a Quality Assurance position at Wiley Companies, primarily managing specialty services (Kosher and HALAL), managing batch record release, reporting and reviewing analytical data for customer and internal use and managing the companies’ Good Manufacturing Practices Training program. Dominique is an Preventive Controls Qualified Individual which he earned from the Food Safety and Preventive Controls Alliance in 2019. As well as an FSSC 22000 credited Internal Auditor.
In 2017, Dominique married his high school sweetheart and they purchased their first home in the county. The couples decision to return to Coshocton County was an easy one. They were and continue to be inspired by the passion, hope and vision that many Coshocton County residents hold for the community. Rice is thrilled to join in the efforts at The United Way and can’t wait to assist in the revitalization of the community.
In his personal time, Rice enjoys entertaining family and friends at his home, vacationing to The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island, and spending time with his beloved canine companion a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, named Charlie. Rice will return to university in the spring of 2021 to obtain his bachelor’s degree in Business – Manufacturing Management.
